What the artist offers us are images of figures that resemble ragdolls with long necks topped by tiny faces, sometimes with expressions of being spellbound, but sometimes hieratic and aggressive, with bodies that are always exaggerated and most unlikely. They are images painted on canvas in an irreverent and sad game played by a man who is now totally disembodied/disenchanted, and his ragdoll women seem to want to tell us about their past – the grand illusions and the bitter disappointments that have left deep marks on their lives.
